RealWear has launched Collaborate 2 – Teams communication with frontline workers
RealWear Collaborate 2 is the latest solution for hands-free collaboration via Microsoft Teams – now with even more options and improved functionality.
More effective collaboration for frontline workers – right from the headset.
The application is built on Microsoft Azure Communication Services and integrates seamlessly with existing Teams users.
With the new version, users can not only collaborate without having to log in – they can now also initiate calls themselves. Where previous solutions required an external expert to first make contact, Collaborate 2 allows frontline staff to call colleagues, managers and support directly in the Teams universe. This means faster response times, less downtime and higher efficiency in work.
Also new in Collaborate 2 is the integration with the RealWear thermal camera from FLIR, which gives experts access to live thermal images directly from the user’s headset – all hands-free and in real time.
Collaboration without a login has become easier than ever: A remote expert only needs a ‘Quick Connect’ code to establish a connection to the RealWear device. It is fast, secure and does not require a login from the user in the field.
